As an Group AML & Governance Assurance Manager at Betsson, you will be part of a global and independent second line function responsible for driving the Governance, Risk and Compliance agenda across the Group. The GRC function operates on behalf of the Board of Directors and Group Management, ensuring strong governance, robust risk management and compliance with applicable regulations.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert within AML/CTF, providing strategic guidance and oversight across the organisation. You will work closely with senior management, subsidiaries and key stakeholders globally, supporting the development and implementation of group-wide frameworks, policies and controls. The role combines hands-on work with a strategic perspective, where you contribute to shaping and strengthening the GRC function in a growing international environment.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide expert guidance on AML/CTF to senior management and key stakeholders, including advice on risk mitigation and strategic responses
- Support the group-wide AML/CTF risk assessment process
- Develop and implement group-wide AML/CTF policies, procedures and controls, including frameworks for internal information sharing
- Oversee and quality assure subsidiary governance in line with the corporate governance framework and Group Internal Rules
- Support reporting to Group Management and the Board of Directors on the implementation of policies, procedures and controls
- Contribute to the development of the GRC function together with the Vice President GRC
- Support the Group’s overall governance, risk and compliance initiatives
- Assist in overseeing regulatory, legal and contractual compliance, ensuring effective frameworks and processes are in place
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including employees, management, Board of Directors and internal/external auditors, providing guidance, reporting and support in relation to governance and compliance matters
What we are looking for
Education: Master’s degree in law, business or a related field
- At least four years of experience within compliance, AML/CTF or a similar second line function
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and their practical implementation
- Experience from working with policies, controls, risk assessments and governance frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex compliance projects and work independently
- Experience engaging with regulators and competent authorities is considered a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders
- A structured and proactive way of working, with the ability to operate in a global environment
- Experience from global organisations and/or the gaming industry is considered a merit but not a requirement
- Familiarity with AML/CTF compliance tools and data-driven monitoring is a plus
- Fluency in Swedish and English
