Job Description
Working At Bitso
We are a diverse team that takes pride in understanding the perspectives of others. We fully embrace working remotely and we are eager to act, improve and accelerate progress inside and outside of our organization.
To drive revolutionary changes in society and make crypto useful, we delight our customers with world-class products, deep care, and intentional empathy.
Your Purpose
Fleet: Money Movement
Squad: Crypto Core
As a PM in Crypto Core, you own one of the most operationally critical systems in Money Movement — responsible for the safe, reliable movement of crypto assets across multiple custody providers and chains, with direct impact on asset integrity, reconciliation, and the experience of millions of users.
This role sits at the intersection of execution and system understanding. You will own day-to-day product execution while building deep knowledge of how the system behaves under scale, failure, and operational stress.
This is not a feature backlog role. It is infrastructure with real financial consequences.
At Bitso, how we operate matters as much as what we operate:
- Customer Obsession: Guaranteeing that every crypto transaction is processed reliably, with the operational discipline that protects user trust at scale.
- Freedom with Accountability: Making trade-off decisions independently, with full ownership of the consequences.
- Continuous Innovation: Actively using AI to sharpen your own work and identify where the system can become smarter, faster, and more resilient.
Reports To
Group Product Manager, Money Movement
Who You Are
- Experienced PM: You have 4–6 years of experience in Product Management, with meaningful exposure to fintech, payments, or technical infrastructure. You have a proven track record of delivering under complexity without losing quality.
- Technically Fluent: You don't code, but you are genuinely comfortable reasoning about APIs, asynchronous systems, external integrations, and failure scenarios. You ask "where can this break?" before proposing solutions.
- System-Aware: You understand what it means to work on infrastructure where errors have real financial and operational consequences. You treat reliability and integrity as design constraints, not operational afterthoughts.
- Clear Communicator: You operate as a bridge between engineering and business stakeholders — translating technical constraints into business language and business priorities into clear technical direction.
- Comfortable with Ambiguity: You can operate with partial information and evolving context without losing direction. You escalate risks clearly and early, even when the solution isn't yet defined.
- AI-Native: You actively use AI tools as part of how you work — drafting specs, synthesizing information, analyzing risk, structuring decisions. You apply judgment on top of AI output. You know when to trust it and when to push back. <
