The Experience

The Partner Solution Engineer sits at the intersection of pre-sales, alliances, and product — acting as the technical and value-focused counterpart to our System Integration (SI) partner community in Switzerland. In this role, you will evangelize the Salesforce technology portfolio to partner practice leaders and architects, co-create strategic assets and reference architectures, and help grow partner-generated pipeline through joint go-to-market motions.

We are looking for a Partner Solution Engineer who is a confident self-starter, equally comfortable in front of technical and executive audiences, and passionate about scaling success through others in the age of AI.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
 

  • Design and deliver partner enablement programs — technical, functional, and value-based — primarily for pre-sales teams and engagement managers at System Integrators, while creating and maintaining partner-focused content and resources.

  • Act as technical ambassador for Salesforce within strategic SI partners, running in-person and virtual sessions to promote Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Customer 360 capabilities, and representing Salesforce at joint events and industry forums.

  • Co-create joint value propositions, reference architectures, and industry-specific blueprints that combine Salesforce with partner offerings, and support joint go-to-market motions to grow partner-generated pipeline.

  • Serve as the voice of the partner back into Product, Engineering, and go-to-market (GTM) teams — translating field feedback into roadmap priorities and collaborating with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver consistent enablement to the partner ecosystem.



You're Our Person If...
 

  • You have 5 or more years of experience in Solution Engineering, sales engineering, or consulting within enterprise software environments, with strong pre-sales skills including discovery, solution mapping, storytelling, demos, Proofs of Concept (PoC), and objection handling.

  • You have a solid understanding of solution architectures including microservices, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, integrations, and cloud platforms, and can explain complex cloud, data, and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • You have a background in one or more of the following: customer experience or digital experience platforms, AI and analytics, or integration and middleware solutions.

  • You are an excellent communicator and facilitator, comfortable presenting to partner and customer executives in a matrixed, global environment.



Even Better If...
 

  • You have direct experience working with or for System Integrators or technology consulting firms, with a proven track record in partner-facing or ecosystem-focused roles.

  • You have hands-on coding skills or technical experience in complex software systems, and familiarity with the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
