Role Overview
Capco is seeking experienced Data Quality (DQ) consultants to support a key client engagement focused on Data Quality transformation and regulatory compliance. The role involves delivering Data Quality Remediation & Transformation Plan (RTP) actions aligned to BCBS239 compliance and implementing DQ Management Standard 2.0.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Data Quality RTP actions to support BCBS239 compliance objectives
- Drive initiatives towards achieving a fully compliant BCBS239 state
- Perform discovery and assessment on high DQ risk processes
- Identify and remediate gaps highlighted in RTPs
- Support implementation of DQ Management Standard 2.0
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to enhance DQ tools (e.g., Rosetta, DQMA)
- Drive digitisation to reduce manual DQ and metadata management activities
- Define and standardise business terms, data definitions, and DQ rules
- Provide insights to improve data governance, controls, and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–14 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Regulatory Data
- Strong understanding of Data Quality frameworks and lifecycle management
- Experience in RTP delivery, gap remediation, and process assessment
- Hands-on experience in metadata management and business glossary
- Exposure to DQ tools such as Rosetta, DQMA, or similar
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BCBS239 or similar regulatory programs
- Strong Data Quality domain expertise in Financial Services
