As the EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Engineer for the company, this role is responsible for
ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations and global guidelines.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Develop and implement site EHS strategies to enhance compliance, meet internal and external audit requirements, and adhere to Global Safety & Health Standards.

  • Plan and implement the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

  • Supervise inspections of facilities, equipment, and operations, and maintain records.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to set EHS targets and ensure their achievement.

  • Develop and implement labor safety and health education and training plans.

  • Coordinate all company EHS licenses and permits and support the business operations.

  • Conduct EHS training and drills to enhance employee skills and promote a strong EHS culture at the site.

  • Manage waste and emissions in accordance with regulations.

  • Handle incident management and conduct thorough investigations to implement corrective actions.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar EHS role.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Good English speaking and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

Work location: On-site,Guangzhou

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
