The IT Project Manager is responsible for running multiple technology projects consisting of New Banking Centers, Relocations, Decommissions, and Reconfigurations for a large financial client. This includes overseeing the cabling, network equipment installations, Cisco phone installations, and other network technologies that may be introduced into the branch environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Manage network, Audio Video, cabling and install projects
- Manage vendors, prepare quotes and receive proposals, negotiate pricing
- Manage revenue and cost expectations of the project to meet required margins
- Work with multiple business units, including Real Estate, Security, and other units to understand requirements and timelines for each project
- Participate in various required project meetings

- Knowledge of Network components and connectivity
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow a project through its lifecycle to successful deployment
- Ability to communicate technical documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and industry that is continually changing
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technical/business requirements and offer creative solutions
- Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate solutions clearly to peers
- Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years’ experience in network technology Project Management
- 2-4 years’ experience managing vendors
- Experience preparing labor/material quotes
- Background in IT Service Delivery
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- PMP Certification
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboar
