Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and market expansion for the Competence Center across targeted U.S. market segments
- Develop and execute market-driven strategic plans (STRAP) to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and long-term profitable growth
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform positioning, opportunity selection, and strategic decisions
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure pricing, costing, margins, and risk/reward decisions support growth strategy
- Serve as the Voice of the Customer by building strong customer relationships and translating insights into strategic priorities
- Support sales efforts through proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiations, customer meetings, and prospect identification through deal closure
- Act as the commercial champion across global and cross-functional teams, influencing product roadmaps, identifying technology gaps, and managing Application Engineers and Product Management resources
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in market development, customer development, or sales, preferably selling technical or engineered solutions
- Strong experience conducting market analysis and developing data-driven strategies
- Industry knowledge in aerospace, hydraulics, sealing solutions, or related industrial markets is preferred
- Proven commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, and profitability optimization
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
