About the Opportunity

As a Contentful Regional Partner Manager, Emerging, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and operationalising our agency and systems integrator (SI) partner ecosystem across high-growth Asian markets. This role sits at the intersection of regional execution and strategic alliance thinking — owning territory-level GTM while aligning closely with Contentful’s global agency/SI strategy. This role will be hybrid, based in Sydney.

You will assess market gaps, identify the right mix of regional and global partners, and work cross-functionally to turn partner relationships into pipeline, revenue, and durable enterprise wins. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role suited to someone who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments, build momentum in less mature markets, and progressively up-level partners into committed, scalable practices.

Serving as a core part of the sales organisation, the partnerships team plays a critical role in driving customer value, partner-sourced pipeline, and long-term ecosystem advantage.

What You’ll Do

Regional GTM Ownership & Execution

  • Own and evolve the regional partner GTM strategy across emerging Asian markets, aligned to global alliance priorities.
  • Identify market gaps, priority verticals, and partner capability needs to support enterprise growth.
  • Build quarterly and annual GTM plans with partners, execute against them, and measure ROI.

Partner Development & Revenue Growth

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a portfolio of regional agency and SI partners.
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline, SQLs, and ACV to support regional revenue goals.
  • Progress partners from opportunistic collaboration to committed Contentful/composable practices.
  • Recommend and position partners effectively with prospects and customers.

Strategic Partner Engagement

  • Build and manage senior relationships (Director, VP, C-level) within partner organisations.
  • Secure executive buy-in for joint investment, enablement, and GTM execution.
  • Align regional partners with global SI motions where relevant, ensuring coherence across enterprise accounts.

Joint GTM & Enablement

  • Lead joint GTM initiatives including campaigns, events, enablement, and account mapping.
  • Partner closely with Partner Marketing and Field Marketing on regional execution.
  • Initiate and run enablement sessions, pipeline reviews, and planning workshops with partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Operate as a tight teammate to regional Account Executives to close deals.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, BDRs, and Global Alliances.
  • Navigate complex, multi-party enterprise deal cycles involving partners, sales, and customers.
  • Travel internationally across the region to deepen partner relationships, support joint customer engagements, and represent Contentful in-market.

What you need to be successful

  • 5+ years’ experience in partner or channel management within a SaaS or digital technology environment
  • Strong experience working with digital agencies and/or systems integrators, ideally in MarTech, CMS, or composable ecosystems
  • Proven success building partner GTM plans and converting them into measurable pipeline and revenue
  • Experience prospecting, recruiting, enabling, and growing partners at Director, VP, and C-level
  • Comfort operating in less mature, high-growth markets with ambiguity and autonomy
  • Strong understanding of the digital experience ecosystem (CMS, commerce, personalisation, DAM, PIM, analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success
  • Experience with enterprise deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders and partners
