Lead Engineer, Product Marketing
 

The Instrumentation BU requires a Product Marketing Engineer to lead product marketing for ADI’s Precision Switch Mux Franchise.  Reporting to the Instrumentation Marketing Managing Director, and working in close concert with other Marketing Engineers, the person is responsible for the implementation of strategic direction for the Precision Switch Mux product line.  Potential candidates should have a technical background with strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset. Candidates with experience engaging in products with broad customer bases and a history of managing technical design-in activity will be preferred. 

The main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strategy for Precision Switch/Mux Franchise
  • Develop and grow opportunity pipeline in conjunction with ADI Sales
  • Research market trends and customer tactics to inform strategy
  • Develop and execute strategy for broad market customers
  • Execute data analytics on opportunity pipeline to identify gaps in pipeline and develop testable hypothesis to increase pipeline
  • Develop external collateral and technical articles
  • Develop internal training materials and provide training to sales teams

Required Skillset

  • Strong technical interest with curiosity to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Analytical thinker with ability to aggregate diverse data inputs and synthesize own view
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Work across teams and geographies as individual contributor and “manage by influence” where necessary
  • Ability to work closely with Sales and strategic customers

Education and background

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Understand electrical circuits and techniques (roughly 5 years design experience)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a strategic technical marketing driving customer engagement and internal sales training
  • Good understanding of semiconductor technical and business fundamentals
  • Experience in semiconductor market required
  • Travel 10%, including international

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $131,285 to $190,108.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
