As a Director, Financial Business Partnering at ICON, you will drive financial strategy and decision-making across the organisation.
What You Will Do:
You will lead finance and financial management delivery across ICONs Biotech business (“IBT”), setting standards and developing your team. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive profitability.
- Providing in-depth financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and resource allocation across ICONs Biotech business.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance, including margin monitoring, cost-saving opportunities, while ensuring full accountability with C-suite strategic planning and direction.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Providing financial guidance on business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives to support IBT growth.
Your Profile:
You will bring significant finance and financial management experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline. Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA).
- Commercially focused with extensive experience in finance business partnering, with a proven ability to influence business decisions and drive financial outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning, with proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Oracle etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence & present complex information while driving change.
- Track record of delivering financial insights that improve business outcomes and support long-term strategic goals.
