THE OPPORTUNITY
LG Electronics is seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as a key individual contributor managing our strategic partnership with CDW. In this high-impact, customer-facing role, you will be the primary lead for driving LG’s presence within CDW’s ecosystem. You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies that capture market share, drive consistent revenue growth, and deliver high-value IT solutions to end users.

This is a Chicago-based role. Candidates should be based in the Chicago metro area to facilitate frequent onsite engagement with CDW.

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to expand LG’s footprint and revenue within CDW’s various segments.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact, building trusted, influential relationships with CDW Category Managers, Account Executives, and Sales Leaders.
  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively collaborate with CDW sales teams to identify new end-user opportunities and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Performance Tracking: Manage quarterly and annual revenue targets, providing accurate sales forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with LG Product Management and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability, align on promotions, and relay the "voice of the customer" to internal stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, display/IT trends, and CDW’s internal business drivers.
  • Brand Advocacy: Conduct product training and roadmap reviews to ensure CDW teams are equipped to lead with LG solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional sales or account management experience, specifically within the IT channel, Display, or PC industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field
  • Channel Expertise: Proven track record of managing large-scale national solution providers (CDW experience highly preferred).
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong working knowledge of display technologies (LCD/LED), computing, and IT networking.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Operational Rigor: Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office for pipeline management and data-driven reporting.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive as a self-starter in a fast-paced, multicultural corporate environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to support partner events, customer meetings, and LG corporate initiatives.
