This temporary position is located in 932 Old US 70 Highway - Buncombe County with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.82 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

Management Preferences:
The primary purpose of the Restorative Care Aide falls under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor.
This position serves as an extension to the therapists in the areas of:
- Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language.
- Position provides services, as warranted, in areas of mobility, dining, range of motion, therapeutic bathing, shaving, and/or hygiene.
- As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), this position serves as a liaison to other CNA's in providing leisure and social activities, basic care, and maintenance services in the residential areas served.
- Hourly wage based on education and documented work experience.
The following KSA's are preferred:
- Ability to follow directions.
- Work independently and show initiative.
- Ability to work with others as a team.
- Basic understanding of populations served, including neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders.
- BMNTC is a 24-hour residential facility that serves adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability.
Minimum Education and Experience

High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Condition for Continued Employment
As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.
As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
