The role  

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (React), you are passionate about innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 7+years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role responsibilities 

As a Senior Frontend Consultant within our organization, you will be a part of the team building e-commerce solutions for our clients who need to handle the daily challenges of scaling, resilience, and performance. 
 
You will work in an agile way in cross-functional global teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will develop innovative approaches for displaying rich datasets to users in an easy-to-use, intuitive way. You will be expected to develop features, take part in the estimation process, conduct code reviews, and assist less senior developers. 
 
As Consultant, you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We’ll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally. 

Must have qualifications 

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:  

• Expertise in HTML5/CSS3, including preprocessors like LESS/SASS, and methodologies such as BEM. 

• 7+ years of experience with React.js  

• Strong experience with Next.js. 

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES5+) and TypeScript. 

• Hands-on experience consuming REST APIs. 

• Knowledge of Git and version control systems. 

• Understanding accessibility standards and best practices. 

• Awareness of SEO standards and how they apply to front-end development. 

• Familiarity with unit testing and related testing frameworks. 

• Familiarity with Commercetools or other headless commerce platforms. 

• Proven ability to work effectively in Agile and Scrum methodologies within cross-functional teams. 

• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills with a high sense of accountability. 

• Advanced level of English proficiency 

Nice to have qualifications   

• Interest or experience in modern front-end tools and processes. 
  Headless CMS (Contentfull, Contentstack, Bloomreach) 

• Experience with Microservice architecture
