Zone Sales Manager

In this role, your key responsibilities are:

 • Through critical insight on customer biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, support the team to formulate strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’ needs and expand Biotech business by gaining market share in existing and new accounts. Continuously develop a network of key decision makers.

 • Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to the sales team and provide feedback to colleagues, on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the region.

 • Achieve defined business goals through building annual region and zone business plan, setting quarterly priorities and driving execution excellence.

• Understand and lead to apply PSP, DM, Key Account Management, Channel Management and other DBS Growth & Fundamental tools to drive continuous improvement on team’s performance and effectiveness.

• Responsible for talent management and successor planning to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.

 • Understand the performance and development planning process. Partner with your team to create objectives, measure performance progress against objectives and close gaps with appropriate action plan.

• Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including the account management team, other sales specialists, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales and customer service.

The essential requirements of the job include:

 • Sales techniques and prospecting capabilities.

 • Product knowledge and ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.

 • Bachelor’s Degree or above in life sciences or relevant field such as biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, and bioengineering

• 10+ years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology/ Biopharma industry.

• Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business need.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

 • Familiar with Salesforce system.

 • Understand the significant importance of Funnel Management and Daily Management.

 • Know and understand DBS system.

• Ability to connect and establish relationships at CXO level internally and externally

• Leading complex projects such as engineering / expansion projects including enterprise

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • More than 8 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
