We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Materials Planner & Production Scheduler to join our Manufacturing team, based out of our Echuca (VIC) Kraft Heinz site!

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Build and maintain supplier delivery schedules for all site-purchased materials
Negotiate and confirm supplier lead times and delivery dates to support production needs
Raise, maintain, and audit purchase orders; proactively manage overdue orders and expedite where required
Identify emerging long-term material constraints early and drive mitigation plans with suppliers and internal teams
Ensure the MRP plan is accurate and stable so materials can be ordered within standard lead times
Maintain high-quality planning and master data integrity within the site’s ERP/planning systems
Manage material shortfalls and supply disruptions to protect an achievable production plan
Develop stable weekly production schedules and issue shop orders for manufacturing execution
Participate in the monthly Sales & Operating Plan process, contributing to a realistic longer-term supply and production plan
Control site inventory to policy, including slow-moving/obsolete stock, and support service targets through effective finished goods load planning and cross-functional coordination
About you:
Maintenance planner with experience in operational roles, including in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
Proven in coordinating day-to-day supply needs with vendors, negotiating delivery quantities and timings to support production.
Works well cross-functionally with manufacturing leaders, procurement, production etc.
Supports new or changed materials by working with Product Development on introductions and suitable alternatives.
Confident user of business systems (including BPCS – ERP knowledge or similar systems) and advanced Microsoft Office skills to keep plans, records, and reporting accurate.
Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with high attention to detail when managing orders, inventory, and schedules.
Clear communicator with solid time management, able to collaborate across teams and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and next steps.
