Position Title: Surveyor / Analyst
Department: Hospitality - Valuation
Reports To: Partner
Location: London
The role is specifically in our London based hotel valuation and advisory team which forms part our valuation service line. The team works alongside a wider EMEA hospitality team of over 60 people providing hotel sector advice across three main service lines: capital markets; development & operator selection; and valuation & advisory.
The team covers the UK and provides advice on a range of hotel types from limited service to luxury resort hotels. The team acts for a range of clients including lenders, investors and owner operators. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analyst looking to join a specialist team operating in a fast paced and dynamic market.
Responsibilities
· Undertake existing valuation mandates
· Work on a mix of regular mandates including loan security and acquisition valuations
· Be able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervision
· To promote the service line to existing and prospective clients
· To start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building client relationships
· To prepare valuation reports, in various formats
· Work with the wider team to help develop our data organisation and analysis capabilities.
Skills
· Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
· Report writing
· Confidence in prioritisation and working to deadlines
Experience
· Approximately 0-2 years property experience.
· Whilst no previous hotel experience is required this would be an advantage.
