What are we expecting from this role?
- Co‑lead core HR processes for Myanmar, including performance management, rewards, talent discussions, and culture initiatives.
- Manage employee relations cases end‑to‑end, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, and policy application, ensuring compliance with Myanmar labor laws.
- Provide HR advisory support and guidance to leadership teams on workforce planning, talent development, and succession management.
- Represent Myanmar in CLM HRBP forums, align with CLM‑wide solutions and directions, and lead the local execution of agreed initiatives.
- Support the design and implementation of change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption within the Myanmar organization.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to strengthen employee voice and improve local retention.
- Continuously monitor HR initiatives and gather feedback to enhance processes, address challenges, and anticipate emerging workforce risks.
- Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to lead the headcount planning process and ensure effective workforce allocation.
- Leverage HR data, analytics, and engagement metrics to provide insights that support informed decision‑making on talent and organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct regular check‑ins with Chiefs, managers, and employees to build trust, identify issues early, and translate feedback into actionable HR solutions.
- Proactively engage stakeholders by offering practical HR solutions, reinforcing clarity on policies, and building credibility as a trusted advisor.
Who is the right fit for this role?
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders (Chief level) and managing country‑level HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and regulations; financial services experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder influencing skills, and the ability to lead change in a complex environment.
