Job Description

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives? JTCMHC is currently recruiting for a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional Team Lead, licensed or under supervision. This role provides oversight and direction for clinical care on our outpatient unit, while also maintaining a caseload. The Team Lead delivers professional behavioral health services—including assessments and psychotherapy—to support recovery and promote overall wellness for a designated population. This position also works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to address the physical and behavioral health needs of the individuals we serve.

Position Details:  

  • Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  
  • Location: Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center, Lawton, OK 

Job Type/Salary:   

  • The salary range is based on experience, tenure and certifications:  
  • $76,000 – $83,790 (Licensed Behavioral Health Professional Team Lead)  
  • $71,000 - $78,277.50 (Licensure Candidate Behavioral Health Professional Team Lead)      
  • Occasional weekend and holiday coverage may be required  
  • Posted until filled  

What We’re Looking For:  

🔹 Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) – Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field + full licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, etc.).  
🔹 Licensed Candidate Behavioral Health Professional (LCBHP) – Master’s degree in a relevant field + active supervision toward licensure.  

Additional Requirements:  

✅ Must have a valid driver’s license and be open to job-related travel (e.g., training).  
✅ Participation in an on-call rotation unless exempted.

About us: Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups. 
  
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Preplacement Testing:  Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.  
  
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE OF 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
