Role Overview

With that in mind, we’re looking for a BIM Manager, who can work with our regional team to produce and deliver interior fit out projects in BIM for our APAC design studios. If you have a background in industry working with BIM, and have a passion for error-free, high quality technical documentation, this can be a good opportunity to realize your ambition.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of the design documentation in Revit.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring as required to the project team.
  • Production support to the teams in the detailed development of plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules and all required elements of design and construction documentation.
  • Ensure a smooth project coordination between the local team and regional project stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the studio regarding the management of incoming project requests.
  • Oversee all projects and ensure smooth handover to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure company Revit drawing standards are properly implemented as required in all sets.
  • Lead the project teams to the successful development of the documentation set.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain Revit model integrity, ensuring accuracy, adherence to standards, and error-free 3D representation for reliable decision-making and collaboration.
  • Provide mentoring to technicians on a regular basis and aid them as required.
  • Day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Work with project representatives regularly to meet overall project objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Revit software, ensuring smooth workflow, and minimizing disruptions.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members, providing guidance on Revit software and project-specific workflows.
  • Be involved in projects from inception to completion, collaborating with project team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in Revit software and related technologies and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Deliver medium to large-scale workplace projects.

Experience

  • Qualified professional in Design, Architecture or related discipline or field with 5-10 years of experience in a BIM / Revit role working in medium to large scale corporate office interior fitout projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing corporate interior fit-out projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams in the development of BIM documentation.
  • Strong technical background and expertise in Autodesk Revit Architecture, AutoCAD software, BIM360, Revit family creation and modelling.
  • Has a good understanding of the built digital environment and how ideas can be modelled and realized.
  • A strong level understanding of how a design project can be translated into the BIM environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot BIM-related issues.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Training of teams and individuals in the development of BIM documentation in Revit.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
