You are:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect designs and implements secure and compliant identity solutions for government agencies. This involves modernizing legacy systems, developing strategic roadmaps, and ensuring all ICAM architecture adheres to federal mandates like the Federal ICAM Architecture (FICAM) and guidelines from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The IAM Architect will define the cloud and on prem security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals.

The work:

Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Develop enterprise-level architecture that aligns with agency security requirements and modernization goals. This includes designing frameworks for identity management, authentication, authorization, and the identity lifecycle (creation, maintenance, and deactivation). They will work with application owners and developers to integrate ICAM solutions into new and existing applications across on-premise and cloud environments. This often involves migrating legacy systems and leveraging Okta, SailPoint, or CyberArk tools. they will create technical standards, blueprints, and integration patterns to ensure consistent and scalable ICAM implementation across the enterprise. They will utilize expertise in identity management, authentication, authorization, credential management, and identity governance and administration (IGA) to define the security architecture for the customer.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
