Job Description:
Lead business‑side data governance for priority domains supporting SLHK BAU. Drive ownership/stewardship, Critical Data Elements (CDE) management, policy/privacy alignment, and adoption of metadata, lineage and DQ scorecards, ensuring audit‑ready evidence and sustained quality.
Key Qualifications:
5–9 years in Data Governance / Stewardship driving business adoption; strong stakeholder facilitation.
Familiarity with SLHK E‑21 data‑risk themes and PDPO; experience with Metadata / Lineage / DQ tooling (e.g., SunSpark).
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership & Stewardship — Confirm Owners/Stewards; maintain business definitions and CDEs; run steward forums and feed the Data Council.
Policy/Privacy & Risk Alignment — Embed SLHK data‑risk/PDPO requirements; maintain attestations and respond to reviews.
Metadata & Lineage Adoption — Drive SunSpark usage/completeness; ensure lineage is published/consumed for impacted products.
Data Quality Governance — Prioritize rules/scorecards on key KPIs; manage issue backlog to closure; track benefits.
Change Enablement — Partner with IT DG execution to ensure DGIA gates and governance artefacts are consistently met in BAU releases.
Management Reporting - regular update of KPIs / metrics to showcase compliance and improvement. Such as coverage of CDE measured, plan to improve governance coverage.
Success Measures
CDE coverage and metadata completeness ≥ target; lineage available for N priority flows.
Audit‑ready evidence for policy/privacy conformance with no major findings.
X% reduction in material DQ incidents and Y% improvement in KPI fitness over Z months.
