Job Summary
Leads functions associated within the calibration procedures related to production or operations. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data. Reviews all documented results of quality assurance and control processes. Develops methods and procedures for calibration. Responsible for performing on-site calibration activities and managing a calibration program which also involves coordinating with outside vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
Establishes set protocols and procedures, and completes specialized tasks that require the exchange of detailed technical or sensitive information
Leads all gauge calibration activities in compliance with company and government regulations
Provides guidance to operators on inspection methods, metrology, gauging, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Required Skills / Capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
Solid understanding of good documentation practices and record retention strategies, as well as an understanding of the requirements to work in a Cleanroom/Sterile packaging environment
Proficient with ASME Y14.5M GD&T and blueprint reading
Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485
Education and Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
High school diploma or GED required
American Society for Quality Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) desirable
