Position Overview
As a member of the Field Applications Engineering (AE) team, you will collaborate with leading semiconductor and system companies to deploy Cadence’s industry-leading Palladium acceleration/emulation platform and FPGA prototyping systems.
This customer-facing role includes both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities. You will work closely with account teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges, while also partnering with R&D to ensure successful deployment and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build technical credibility and strong relationships with customers; serve as their primary technical contact.
- Provide deep technical support in collaboration with R&D to enable advanced acceleration/emulation flows and secure design wins.
- Advocate for customer needs and collaborate with R&D and Marketing to develop competitive, creative technical solutions.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and continuously work to differentiate Cadence’s offerings.
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in design or verification.
- Experience developing verification environments using SystemVerilog (advantage).
- Familiarity with eRM, OVM, or UVM methodologies (advantage).
- Knowledge of protocols such as JTAG, UART, PCIe, AXI, DDR (advantage).
- Experience in hardware acceleration, in-circuit emulation, or FPGA prototyping (highly desirable).
- Strong English communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Team-oriented mindset, mature work attitude, and sound judgment under pressure.
