A Day in the Life

The Importation/Exportation Analyst will be a key driver in the evolution of the Foreign Trade function, acting as the focal point for systems and data to ensure a more efficient, agile, and reliable import operation. The role goes beyond routine operational activities and focuses on driving improvements, implementing system solutions, automating processes, and transforming data into strategic insights through reports, dashboards, and Power BI.

Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, this professional will directly contribute to decision-making and enable quick adaptation to constant regulatory changes, ensuring operational stability, compliance, and continuous innovation. The position has a hybrid working model with presence in our office in São Paulo/SP.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as the focal point for foreign trade systems (Ecomex, SAP, Receita Federal website, internal systems  and integrations), ensuring stability, governance, and proper usage
  • Implement system improvements, patches, and automations, including testing, validation, and go-live support (e.g., DUIMP/tax reform initiatives)
  • Ensure continuous system updates in line with regulatory changes, mitigating compliance risks and customs delays
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards with reliable, real-time data to support decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve import operation efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners (customs brokers, IT, consulting firms) to ensure alignment and required automations
  • Monitor and analyze operational and system data, proposing continuous improvements and supporting strategic projects.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficiency in English is required (reading, writing and speaking)

  • Experience working with technology, data analysis and process improvement in a regulated environment

  • knowledge of Brazilian customs regulations and key agencies such as ANVISA, INFRAERO, and Port Authorities, with understanding of DUIMP and NPI requirements
