As the Talent Acquisition Activation Americas, Senior Specialist, you will support and improve Talent Acquisition Activation processes across the Americas region. The focus of this role is regional process enablement, operational excellence, and continuous improvement aligned with global Talent Acquisition priorities.
This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Activation Manager, Americas and works closely with Global Experience Leads (GELs), Recruiters, Recruiting & Onboarding (R&O) Partners, Total Rewards, ERLR, and the Business Solutions Group (BSG). We aim to deliver consistent end to end (E2E) Talent Acquisition processes that meet governance requirements while creating a smooth experience for Talent Acquisition Partners, candidates, and hiring managers. This is an individual contributor role with strong cross functional collaboration. The Senior Specialist provides regional expertise, advice, and practical recommendations to support informed decision making.
Operational Process Support
You will support the day today operation of end to end Talent Acquisition Activation processes across Americas, ensuring alignment with global standards, policies, and digital roadmaps. You will act as a regional point of expertise for Talent Acquisition partners, helping resolve issues that arise during daily operations.
You will also support Americas for specific adaptations during global Talent Acquisition initiatives, ensuring local requirements and regulatory considerations are accurately reflected. Keeping process documentation and maps current, including regional Americas variations, will be a key part of maintaining clarity, consistency, and audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Insights
We believe in improving how work gets done. In this role, you will review processes to surface inefficiencies, risks, and points of friction for candidates or Talent Acquisition partners in Americas. Using data and operational insights, you will recommend practical improvements that strengthen service delivery.
You will perform regular reviews of internal processes, contribute to root cause analysis, and participate in after action reviews. You will also support the testing, validation, and rollout of system or process updates that affect Talent Acquisition operations.
Regional & Cross Functional Collaboration
Acting as a trusted Americas regional partner, you will work closely with Recruiters, R&O Admin Partners, HR Business Partners, and other HR teams. You will partner with Global Experience Leads, HR Digital, and TA Operations to help ensure changes are clearly understood, well adopted, and sustained over time.
You will share structured input on regional impacts, risks, and interdependencies related to Talent Acquisition Activation initiatives to support effective planning and decision making.
Governance, Compliance & Quality
You will help ensure Talent Acquisition processes align with Johnson & Johnson Internal Controls, data privacy requirements, and local Americas regulations.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent related experience
Proficient in English and Spanish
4–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Shared Services, or a related field
Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into practical recommendations
Experience working effectively in a global, matrixed environment
Strong follow through on complex operational activities
Clear, structured communication with diverse partner groups
High attention to detail and comfort maintaining accurate documentation
Preferred
Solid understanding of Workday Recruiting (ATS)
Experience supporting improvement initiatives in an HR or shared services environment
Exposure to process mapping, lean concepts, or operational excellence approaches
Experience partnering with HR Digital, TA Operations, or Service Excellence teams
