About the Role
We're looking for a pioneering Data Scientist to help own the analytics and data layer across the company.
You'll work across the full spectrum defining metrics, building dashboards, designing experiments, developing LLM-powered extraction pipelines, and presenting findings directly to customers. This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature data stack and optimize at the margins. You'll be shaping how Siro understands its own product, how customers understand their sales teams, and how our AI features get measured and improved.
As part of a small data team, you'll have real ownership over what you build and genuine influence over what gets built next. The role spans business intelligence, applied AI, and customer-facing analysis often in the same week.
What you’ll do
AI Feature Development & Evaluation
Prototype and design new AI-powered features from initial concept through prompt engineering, pipeline architecture, and validation bridging the gap between what's possible with LLMs and what's useful for customers
Develop evaluation frameworks to measure the quality and reliability of Siro's AI features extraction accuracy, agentic workflow performance, and answer quality
Design and maintain benchmarks that track AI performance over time, catching regressions before customers do
Partner with Engineering to translate evaluation results into concrete improvements, closing the loop between measurement and product quality
Product Analytics & Business Intelligence
Define and standardize key product metrics adoption, engagement, reliability ensuring numbers mean the same thing regardless of who's looking or where they're looking
Build and maintain dashboards for both internal teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success) and external customers, covering usage patterns, feature adoption, and product health
Design data models and enablement tooling that let non-technical stakeholders self-serve, and build custom reports and analyses when they can't
Own data quality and serve as the internal authority on Siro's data establish standards and monitoring, work with Engineering to fix issues at the source, and be the person teams come to when they need to understand what the numbers actually say
Customer Insights & Experimentation
Combine traditional quantitative methods with LLM-based analysis across structured and unstructured data to surface actionable insights for customer organizations what's working in their sales process, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities are
Design experimental frameworks and ROI analyses for pilot customers, balancing statistical rigor with business pragmatism to prove Siro's impact
Develop novel extraction and analysis pipelines that deepen what Siro can learn from conversation data, making our insights more differentiated and our dataset more competitively valuable
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, ML/AI, or related field
Strong foundation in statistics and experimental design
Strong SQL and Python skills, including experience building and maintaining data pipelines
Experience with BI tooling and dashboard development
Experience working with structured and unstructured data
Comfort communicating data to non-technical and external audiences
Experience working with LLMs beyond surface-level usage — prompt engineering, building with LLM APIs, or evaluating model outputs
