The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a colorful Garden Island with all the charm and intimacy of a traditional Maldivian Village. Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.

The Bartender will deliver exceptional guest experiences by preparing quality beverages and supporting overall F&B service operations. They will assist both at the bar and on the floor, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This role reports to the Outlet Manager.

A work permit will be provided by the resort if required.

What You Will Do:

  • Is directly responsible for the day‑to‑day key processes in his/her area of work
  • Assists his/her supervisor in executing daily operational requirements
  • Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates strong standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as a role model
  • Attends all scheduled training sessions
  • Actively provides operational, employee, and guest (internal and external) feedback to management
  • Directs colleagues and takes responsibility for service quality and sequence; takes orders and serves (and where applicable, prepares) food & beverages according to hotel standards in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
  • Handles service for large tables, VIP guests, and private events
  • Is highly attentive to guest preferences; assists in building guest history; offers special service touches when opportunities arise
  • Assists with supply requisitions following established procedures
  • Adheres to the hotel’s code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards
  • Works hands‑on and supports colleagues during peak periods; “walks the talk”
  • Actively participates in briefings and meetings
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and promotes a safe working environment
  • Supports large group and banquet events as required, ensuring smooth service and operational excellence
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • Has 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels/resorts
  • Passed O-levels
  • Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
  • Possesses aptitude and upward mobility
  • Possesses guest PR skills and personal flair
  • Has undergone formal training in wine and food knowledge
