PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect cabinets, doors, and drawer fronts, etc. For defects, dimensional, and handling damage.

• Verify cabinet/components match to job order specifications.

• Check product surfaces by sight and touch to confirm smoothness, coverage, and durability of product.

• Ensure all cabinets are complete, ticketed correctly, and ready for final assembly.

• Document inspection findings and tag or separate any defective parts for rework/scrap.

• Communicate recurring defects or process issues to leadership in the Ops and QA department for correction.

• Maintain accurate inspection records to support quality control reporting.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection station.

• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in woodworking, cabinet finishing, or quality inspection strongly preferred.

• Keen eye for detail with ability to identify even minor finish defects.

• Understanding of stains, paints, sealers, topcoats, and sheen levels a plus.

• Ability to read and follow job orders and specifications.

• Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods and handle cabinet parts (up to 49 lbs).
