Site Overview:

GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories.

Employing more than 700 highly skilled local professionals and providing MRO services to more than 50 airlines worldwide, GEESM continues to exceed our customers’ expectations. With our technical expertise and pioneering spirit, we elevate the flying experience to new heights.

Work location: Subang and will be stationed at Sepang in 2027.

Role Overview:

1. Facility Management
• Oversee daily operations of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, fire protection).
• Ensure building infrastructure is maintained in safe and operational condition.
• Manage housekeeping, layout, and space optimization.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

2. Equipment Maintenance
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Supervise troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure minimal downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
• Maintain equipment history records and documentation.

3. Team Supervision
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety procedures.

Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.

4. Able to provide after-hours support for urgent breakdowns and remain reachable via mobile when immediate assistance is required.


5. Able to undertake any additional tasks assigned by leader, as required to support business needs.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of experience in supervising facility, maintenance and equipment team from high-volume manufacturing industry.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical , Electrical, Mechatronic engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising facility, maintenance and equipment team from high-volume manufacturing industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing / MRO / Industrial environment is an advantage
