Job Description:

The Dispatcher is responsible for managing all arranged pickups made by customer service or via internet booking. This role ensures pickups are assigned to the correct drivers on time and resolves any unsuccessful collections promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pickup Assignment: Assign pickups to drivers according to routes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Coordinate urgent pickups to meet customer timelines. This task is heavily supported via automated assignments.

  • Customer Communication: Maintain constant contact with customers for any unforeseen delays in pickup requests.

  • Device Management: Ensure our device are distributed to the right drivers and resolve any simple technical issues.

  • Palletized shipments Collection Coordination: Follow up with pallet shipments requests and send daily email pre-alerts on pallet shipments exports.

  • Missed Pickups: Follow up on missed PU cases, supporting the Customer Experience coordinator (CEC).

  • Support Tasks: Assist the CEC coordinator with package location, delivery, supplies requests. Provide support for Driver Follow up, Delivery Change Request, and undelivered packages follow-ups via email or phone.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore roads and areas

  • Operational Plans: Understanding of various processes, procedures, and operating hours.

  • System Proficiency: Ability to read and use systems (with trainings).

  • Teamwork: Ability to work together as a team.

  • Customer Service: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, demonstrating a customer-oriented attitude.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that may require light physical effort.

This is a fully on-site role. Candidate will need to work 5.5 days per week (Alternate Saturdays). Working hours are 9.30am to 6.30pm (Mon), 10.30am to 7.30pm (Tues-Fri), 10am to 2pm (Sat).
