Position Summary:
As a clinic nurse, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality, patient-centered care. You will use your nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol knowledge to make informed decisions and deliver safe, efficient care. Responsibilities include assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of care plans in collaboration with the care team.
What You Will Do:
- Perform patient assessments and telephone triage
- Adhere to infection prevention guidelines
- Provide individualized patient and caregiver education
- Communicate with ordering providers and care teams
- Manage side effects and medication refills
- Support patients through the oncology care continuum

- Delegation: Delegates tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability
What You Will Need:
- Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program
- BSN required or enrollment in a BSN program (completion within 4 years of hire)
- Valid RN license in the State of Michigan
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card
- BLS Provider Card
- Oncology Nursing Certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology care
- Experience with EPIC EMR (preferred)
- Oncology experience strongly preferred
