Logistics Assistant Manager (EC & Transportation)
Reporting to : Director, Logistics and Distributions (Japan & Korea)
Department : Logistics & Distributions


Who You Are:

  • You are a dynamic, collaborative professional with a positive mindset and strong communication skills. With a 
  • deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management, you possess the agility to adapt to change, 
  • while demonstrating the ability to take initiative and drive improvements. Your experience with 3PL/4PL 
  • providers, as well as with global transportation and export/import operations, makes you a key player in 
  • managing and optimizing logistics functions for the business. Your focus on results, operational efficiency, and 
  • the ability to nurture strong relationships with stakeholders make you a valuable team member.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee global transportation for all Capri Holdings-related goods, including import & Export operations and customs clearance.
  • Organize 3PL warehouse operations and manage inbound/outbound transactions for retail logistics.
  • Manage receiving and shipping in line with KPIs for the brand, including B2B/B2C (E-commerce), returns, 
  • QC operations, and support for family sales and other events.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including brand counterparts, 
  • 3PL warehouses, global teams, customs brokers, and vendors.
  • Ensure stock availability by maintaining optimal inventory levels and resolving any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Review the service levels of 3PL vendors, monitor inventory levels, reconcile inventories when necessary, and ensure consistency with standards.
  • Manage day-to-day SAP system operations, proactively troubleshooting issues in collaboration with overseas IT counterparts.
  • Conduct monthly data analysis to monitor KPIs and logistics costs, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Place purchase orders (e.g., for warehouse-related materials) and handle monthly invoice management in close collaboration with the Finance team.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and computer systems.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
  • Proven ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
