The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Senior Analyst Wet Stock will be a key player on this team that will help oversee entire wetstock management process in respective region, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards and grow F&L globally at ACT.
About the role:
The hired candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Marketing, Merchandising, Global Technology, and Business Units. The Senior Analyst will support wet stock operations across Europe and North America, focusing on fuel management optimization, wet stock analytics, HSE compliance, and forecourt equipment performance. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, driving operational efficiency, and providing guidance to Analysts and Junior Analysts while ensuring continuous improvement in wet stock control practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Participate and support, as subject matter expert, in department and cross department projects.
Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards that offer comprehensive insights into wetstock metrics and trends.
Perform reviews and provide feedback for the reporting.
Prepare regular, timely, relevant, and concise reporting on the wetstock for management.
Be aware of Wet Stock Management policies and understand ongoing processes within the company.
Implement and enhance wetstock monitoring systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Provide recommendations for operational improvements based on wetstock data analysis.
Conduct thorough and regular internal audits to ensure compliance with wetstock management procedures and standards.
Identify and investigate complex discrepancies in wetstock area, providing expert insights.
Report to BU operations teams about major faults and issues that don`t follow company established processes.
Actively participate in Department relevant improvement projects for new or already established processes.
Recommend, participate in development, improvement of existing policies, procedures, processes within department.
Perform individual or group trainings for junior team members (onboarding; skills development; filling the gaps in knowledge)
In case of necessity proactively support team members with advice and support Team Manager in department work organization.
Mentor and guide junior team members fostering collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Being a Team player with ability to work independently when it is required.
Deputizing for the Wet Stock Manager at meeting as required.
Establish and develop communication with key stakeholders (manager)
Qualifications and experience
5+-years of experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Compliance, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or other related industry.
Higher educational level in Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, Accounting or related field
Work experience in foreign and in multicultural environment will be considered as an advantage.
Previous experience as a wetstock analyst and familiarity with wetstock monitoring systems will be considered as an advantage.
