The Role

Angel City FC is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Vice President of Ticketing to lead the club’s ticketing strategy and sales and service teams.

This leader will oversee ticket sales and service across season ticket memberships, premium seating, and group sales, with a strong focus on renewals, retention, and long-term fan value.

A core priority of this role is developing people, strengthening sales culture, and creating clear pathways for performance and career growth across the ticketing team.

The VP of Ticketing will partner closely with Marketing, Data Strategy & Insights, Partnerships, Event Operations, and the BMO Stadium ticket operations team to turn fan insights into strategy and execution across the full season.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Leadership & Accountability

  • Own and deliver annual and multi-year ticketing revenue goals across season memberships, premium seating, group sales, and single match performance.
  • Maintain full accountability for pacing, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of revenue outcomes.
  • Lead regular revenue reviews to ensure proactive adjustments to strategy, pricing, and execution.

Sales Leadership & Performance Culture

  • Lead senior sales leaders across new business, group sales, and premium sales functions, including enterprise-level and high-value partnerships.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture grounded in clear activity standards, pipeline discipline, and consistent revenue generation.
  • Personally support and close key strategic deals, particularly in premium seating, suites, and large group opportunities.

Pipeline Management & Operational Rigor

  • Own sales process architecture, ensuring best-in-class pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and CRM integrity in partnership with Data & Insights.
  • Standardize reporting, activity expectations, and deal progression frameworks across all ticketing verticals.
  • Drive weekly and monthly performance cadences that keep teams aligned, accountable, and focused on conversion.

Premium & Enterprise Revenue Strategy

  • Lead strategy for premium seating, suites, and hospitality offerings, including pricing, packaging, yield, and go-to-market approach.
  • Partner with the Partnerships team to align ticketing inventory and premium products within broader B2B and enterprise sales strategies.
  • Act as a key business owner for high-value relationships and complex deal structures.

Fan Lifecycle & Revenue Growth Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end fan revenue lifecycle, from acquisition through retention, renewal, upsell, and long-term lifetime value optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase season member growth, retention, and upgrade pathways.
  • Identify and activate new ticketing revenue streams, product innovation, and monetization opportunities.

Pricing, Inventory & Demand Strategy

  • Develop and execute annual ticketing business plans, including forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, and product mix optimization.
  • Lead dynamic pricing, yield management, and inventory strategy to maximize attendance, accessibility, and revenue performance.
  • Translate fan and market insights into actionable pricing, packaging, and sales strategies.

Team Building & Talent Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent, building a strong internal bench of future leaders.
  • Establish clear career pathways, performance expectations, and development frameworks tied directly to revenue outcomes.
  • Build a scalable, high-accountability organization with a strong service and sales mindset.

Cross-Functional & Partner Leadership

  • Serve as the primary business lead for ticketing partners (e.g., Ticketmaster, stadium operations, suite providers, etc.), ensuring seamless execution and matchday experience.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to align single-match ticket strategy, demand generation, and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate with Data & Insights to inform strategy through fan behavior, sales trends, and market intelligence.
  • Provide executive-level forecasting, insights, and strategic recommendations to the CRO and broader commercial leadership team.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, growth mindset with the ability to lead from the front when needed.
