Role Overview

The Senior Engineering Manager (SEM) leads a team of full stack engineers focused on building, deploying, and operating high-quality software in production. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product Managers to shape the roadmap, define and drive OKRs, and deliver intelligent, scalable solutions that align with enterprise goals. You’ll be the technical voice for your team in cross-functional planning conversations and ensure strong engineering practices across the build-measure-learn cycle.

Success in this role requires a balance of technical depth and people leadership, with a focus on coaching engineers, fostering collaboration, and driving operational excellence. Ideal candidates bring creative problem-solving, strong technical judgment, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a bias for action in complex, fast-moving environments.

About You

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and 1-3 years in team management

  • Experience in Java/Kotlin/UI programming languages, full stack development

  • Experience in AI/Machine Learning, data pipelines is preferred

  • Proven ability to deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure solutions with broad impact

  • Experience leading functional design and architecture discussions, with an understanding of process flows and system diagrams to support design decisions

  • Provides technical oversight and coaching to others in resolving technical issues
