Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, hallways, and office spaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, break rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Clean windows and glass doors and ensure that all surfaces that hands touch are properly sanitized.
Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and materials.
Clean and maintain production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
 

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a rendering plant environment with exposure to noise, odors, and varying temperatures.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Regularly required to perform physically demanding tasks.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3-months continuous experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/ Construction/ Landscaping Environment.
A minimum of 6 months continuous work history in the past 2 years.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 90 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
