Site Reliability Engineer – Platform Operations
As a Site Reliability Engineer reporting to Sr. Director – Platform Operations, Cap Cloud team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of cloud-based services delivered to Nasdaq's FinTech clients worldwide.

What You Will Do
Manage and deploy changes to production systems, implementing improvements that drive operational excellence and enhance the customer experience.
Lead incident and problem resolution end-to-end, escalating appropriately and ensuring timely outcomes aligned with contractual commitments.
Facilitate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning activities to maintain service resilience.
Identify and drive technical and process improvements — including automation opportunities — that elevate service delivery performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, security, and product to align on standards and deliver scalable, secure solutions.
What We Expect
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience managing mission-critical, 24x7 operational environments in a cloud-based setting.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tooling to support reliable and repeatable deployments.
Expertise in cloud technologies including areas such as one of the main cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI platform)
Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, containerization, and network fundamentals.
Excellent communicator with a track record of effective collaboration across distributed, global teams.
What Would Be Helpful
Professional-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
ITIL certification or equivalent experience in IT service management frameworks.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies in platform operations.
This position is based in Sydney, Australia, and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 2 days per week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
