Job Title: Project Architect

Location: 42 W 39^th Street, 7^th Floor, New York, NY 10018

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)

Job Description: Velocity Architecture & Engineering DPC, a BRAVO Group company, is seeking a Project Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for a licensed architect (RA) with proven experience delivering New York City public agency projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project development from concept through construction administration, ensuring compliance with NYC codes and public agency requirements
Manage design and documentation processes using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM, maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
Support junior staff, providing guidance on technical execution and project coordination
Navigate NYC zoning, building codes, Local Law 11, and ADA regulations to ensure project compliance
Manage project schedules while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
Interface with NYC and state agencies, demonstrating a strong understanding of public sector project requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid license as a Registered Architect (RA) in NY is strongly preferred; candidates with the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire (ie, have already passed multiple exams) will be considered
7+ years of experience in architectural design and project management
Direct experience with NYC and NY State public agency projects is preferred; familiarity with NYC codes is required
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture #LI-Onsite

Salary

$125,000—$145,000 USD
