Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Design Process:
- Drive the end-to-end design of user interfaces, creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct research to understand user needs, industry trends, and competitor products to inform and validate design decisions.
- Create and maintain design systems to ensure a cohesive visual language across all products.
Collaborate Across Teams:
- Partner with product managers, developers, designers across the field, and stakeholders to define and refine product requirements, advocating for user-centered solutions.
- Present design concepts and insights to align team members on design strategies that meet both user and business goals.
- Provide mentorship to junior designers, fostering growth and innovation within the team.
Ensure quality and consistency:
- Oversee design quality through all stages, from concept to implementation, ensuring pixel-perfect execution.
- Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback, maintaining high standards of usability and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking process, user-centered design work across various platforms.
- Excellent understanding of UX design principles, user psychology, and design systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and explain complex concepts to non-design stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in conducting user research and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
