The Key Account Manager Eastern Switzerland is a field-based, execution-focused commercial role responsible for maximizing BeOne’s impact and product performance across priority hemato-oncology accounts in Eastern Switzerland. Reporting to the Country Manager Switzerland, the KAM owns account relationships, drives compliant in-label customer engagement, translates national strategy into account-level execution, and delivers agreed sales, qualitative and activity objectives within budget.
The role combines scientific credibility, strong commercial execution, account planning discipline and entrepreneurial field presence. It requires proactive engagement with hematologists, relevant nurses, hospital pharmacists, opinion leaders and other key hospital stakeholders through face-to-face, remote, virtual and approved digital channels. The KAM works closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access and other cross-functional colleagues to create sustainable account value, generate actionable insights, support patient-focused care and strengthen BeOne’s reputation as a trusted partner in hemato-oncology.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Own priority hospital accounts, building strong relationships with key clinical and institutional stakeholders and developing a deep understanding of patient pathways, access, competitive dynamics and unmet needs.
- Develop and execute patient-centric account plans that translate strategy and insights into prioritized opportunities and actions to optimize patient care.
- Strengthen BeOne’s image, reputation and credibility as a trusted partner within the Swiss healthcare landscape.
- Responsible for regional sales goals and agreed account, coverage and quality KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing performance gaps.
- Conduct and lead customer engagement with hematologists and other relevant stakeholders, using insights into patient potential, treatment pathways, prescribing trends and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities and support optimal patient care.
- Deliver coordinated engagement across face-to-face, remote and approved digital channels, including local, national and international meetings, symposia and workshops.
- Work closely with Marketing and Medical to ensure BeOne products are represented consistently with brand strategy and the highest scientific standards.
- Maintain effective customer coverage and engagement frequency, spending approximately 70% of working time in field/customer-facing activities.
- Ensure accurate CRM documentation and use CRM to plan and track account progression.
- Develop and lead commercial projects with key customers that address relevant clinical, educational or operational needs and contribute to optimizing patient care.
- Conduct all activities to the highest standards of patient-focused ethical conduct and in accordance with BeOne Standards of Conduct, applicable laws, regulations, codes and company policies.
- Fulfil all required pharmacovigilance, medical inquiry and product-quality reporting obligations.
- Act as a role model for ethical, patient‑centric behaviour within the field team
Qualifications
- Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience
- +7 years of qualified work experience as commercial representative in the hemato-oncology market
- Scientific education and experiences in this or similar positions
- Specific knowledge in hematology-oncology and distinct knowledge in project management
- Strong identification with BeOne´s values
- Willingness to learning and continuously develop (trainings and coachings)
- Demonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment.

- Excellent reliable contacts with opinion leaders in the relevant indications (special knowledge in the field of Lymphomas) is desirable
- Knowledge of the distribution structures and distribution channels of drugs

- Fluent English and German; Italian and/or French are an advantage
- Willingness to travel

- Accountability & Execution Discipline: Sets SMART account objectives, documents customer interactions and next steps, follows through on commitments, escalates barriers early, and holds themselves accountable for activity quality, account progression, and business outcomes
- Resilience & Adaptability: Operates effectively in a market characterized by constrained HCP access, cost-driven prescribing, strong incumbent competition, and ongoing organizational change. Finds creative routes to impact when conventional access is blocked
- Ethics & Compliance Stewardship: Builds trust through integrity, transparency, and respect. Operates strictly within regulatory, CGR, and company standards, and treats patient safety, ethical conduct, and compliance as personal responsibilities

Salary Range Switzerland: 156,800.00 CHF - 196,000.00 CHF
