The Opportunity:

The Manager of Identity & Access Management (IAM) is responsible for leading the day today execution and continuous improvement of the organization’s IAM program while translating IAM strategy into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. The IAM Manager partners closely with Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Application teams to deliver identity lifecycle management, access governance, and privileged access capabilities aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day today delivery and operations of the IAM program, translating strategy into secure, scalable solutions ‑to‑day delivery and operations of the IAM program, translating strategy into secure, scalable solutions
  • Oversee identity lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver), access provisioning, deprovisioning, and reviews
  • Manage IAM platforms and integrations (e.g., SailPoint, Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, ServiceNow, HR systems)
  • Enforce access governance, RBAC, and least privilege principles across systems and applications ‑privilege principles across systems and applications
  • Partner with Security, IT, HR, and Audit to support compliance, risk management, and audits
  • Serve as an escalation point for IAM incidents, issues, and access related risks ‑related risks
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IAM engineers and analysts, ensuring delivery, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to evaluate solutions and improve IAM processes and capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or related security disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of IAM platforms, identity governance, and access control models
  • Experience with SSO, MFA, Active Directory, Entra ID, and privileged access concepts
  • Proven ability to balance operational delivery with longer‑term program improvement
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements, to include the exploration, experimentation, and application of AI.
  • This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep experience with SailPoint IdentityNow and/or Business+ platforms
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions with HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit support
  • Strong process‑design and documentation skills
  • Ability to challenge vendors and assess IAM solutions from an architectural perspective
