Typical Assignments
Retrieves and distributes, claims, x-rays, mail, and other materials
Drives a company vehicle to collect mail from the local post office
Collects, sorts, and prepares outgoing mail
Collects and/or delivers mail and packages to/from designated work areas
Assembles, sorts, copies, logs, files, and retrieves materials
Screens documents for completeness, errors, and for appropriate information
Prepares incoming mail and organizes mail trays
Operates office equipment which may include personal computer, Omation letter opener, scanner, photocopier, calculator, personal computer, fax machine, etc.
Maintains related department records and files

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid (State of Michigan) driver’s license
Ability to lift, load, and move items up to 25 pounds, bend and twist
Ability to operate and maintain equipment and handle materials
Successful completion of a physical and job-related functional screening assessment
