About the Core Solution Design team
Our team focuses on the core architectural and functional foundations of Deel’s native payroll engine. We ensure that our platform provides the best tools, features, and capabilities for a wide range of users — from country build teams and payroll managed services, to customer HR/payroll teams and employees/managers. We design and maintain scalable solutions that accelerate country localization, ensure compliant payrolls, boost operational efficiency, and drive innovation in the world of payroll.

Summary

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure requirements are well understood and solutions meet customer and business needs. Focus is on documenting functional requirements and collaborating closely with developers on feature implementation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep dive sessions with commercial subject matter experts. • Create BRD’s and process flows for sign off from relevant stakeholders. • Accurately document user stories on Azure DevOps for development teams. • Work closely with development teams to conceptualize and design solutions. • Participate in design sessions and propose feasible solutions.

• Provide functional support during development and testing.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and documentation across the team. • Attend grooming sessions and daily stand-ups to support delivery. • Ensure smooth transition of solutions into production, supporting change-management. • Work closely with QA on story definition and test plans.

• Proficiently use of Figma (or similar) to design and communicate features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Business Analyst or Solution designer. • Formal certification in Business Analysis or Informatics is advantageous. • Experience working with software using .Net framework is required. • Experience in payroll or financial software is advantageous.
