Role

We are currently seeking a vigilant and service-oriented Security Officer to join the team at Amanzoe. Under the direction of the Security Manager and Supervisors, this role is responsible for safeguarding the safety and well-being of our guests, colleagues, and property through proactive patrolling, monitoring, and emergency response. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation and communication skills and remain composed under pressure to uphold the highest safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property

• Monitor security systems and report irregularities such as breaches or emergencies

• Inspect alarm panels, fire extinguishers, doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper functionality and security

• Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate with police, fire, or medical teams when necessary

• Inform and warn offenders about rule violations including trespassing, loitering, smoking, or prohibited items

• Complete incident and accident reports and maintain accurate records and documentation

• Participate in emergency procedures and safety drills

• Operate electronic security equipment and communication systems

• Perform workplace safety inspections and recommend corrective actions

• Support the implementation of safety procedures and compliance with safety regulations

• Greet and interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, upholding the Amanzoe standards of service and appearance

• Remain flexible to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Security Management

Requirements

• Clean criminal record

• Valid security license (preferred)

• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays

• Basic First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain

• Strong attention to detail and high sense of responsibility

• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and act with sound judgment

• Previous experience in security within luxury hospitality is an asset

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus
