R&D Project Manager

You will be working as Project Manager – Business Line Energy Distribution directly reporting to the Business Line Energy Distribution Program Management Office Manager. We are looking for communicative team players willing to embrace challenging tasks on management of global complex projects or programs covering both the area of New Product Development as well product / process optimization. A collaborative environment, closely working with globally distributed functions such as Product Management, R&D and Operations, will require teamwork attitude and strong communication skills.

You will report to the Global Program Manager.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading complex project/s as responsible for all elements of the project/s. Motivating and leading internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
• Managing the cost, schedule, and performance objectives of the projects.  Bringing all the project elements to a conclusion and ensures project results are transferred to relevant line organization.
• Ensuring understanding of customer value in the projects, acting to ensure customer satisfaction, and managing expectations.
• Ensuring transparency, proper management and communication around change requests, unforeseen results/events and identified risks. Ensuring that all opportunities are captured and acted upon.
• Serving as the key contact for stakeholders, and an escalation point for program/project issues. Effectively communicating appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and support.

• Bachelor’s degree and/ or PMI accreditation is preferred.
• Profound experience in project management, including agile and lean project management practices, setting up effective project governance and communication strategies.
• Good communication skills, a team player, a results orientation, able to work independently.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of MS Project is considered a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel.
