Join NewYork-Presbyterian Queens as a Patient Access Representative in our Physical Therapy and Rehab Services Department and make a lasting impact on every patient’s journey. Be the welcoming face that guides patients and families through their care experience, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued.

As part of our dynamic administrative team, you’ll help us deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse community while working in a collaborative, patient-first environment.

What You’ll Do

• Register patients for procedures and appointments with accuracy and compassion.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance details, including pre-certifications and authorizations.
• Coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Serve as a calm, reassuring presence for patients navigating their hospital visit.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Location: NewYork-Presbyterian Queens

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
• Prior healthcare experience involving patient interaction and insurance processes
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) for enhanced patient communication

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
• Strong computer proficiency
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
