Introduction to the Team

The Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates Operations team helps translate business priorities into scalable operational solutions that improve partner experience and team effectiveness. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution, helping the business identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and stakeholder workflows.

In this role, you will help shape how Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates operates at scale. You will work across teams to turn business needs and market insights into practical solutions, improve operational efficiency, and create stronger alignment across stakeholders. You will also play an important role in building team capability by coaching others, creating clear frameworks, and driving consistent ways of working.

In this role, you will:

  • Build a strong understanding of the Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates business and broader operational landscape to identify challenges, opportunities, and priorities
  • Analyze business problems and recommend effective solutions, including process, device, or system-based improvements that support scalable execution
  • Gather market and stakeholder insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for Operations and Commercial teams
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end operational processes, troubleshooting frameworks, and knowledge guides with a focus on efficiency and long-term scalability
  • Lead projects independently by prioritizing work, managing timelines, tracking progress, highlighting risks, and communicating action plans and next steps to stakeholders
  • Partner across teams to resolve operational issues, clarify ownership, align decision-making using frameworks such as RACI, and support broader business goals
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior team members and stakeholders on processes, tools, technologies, and structured problem-solving approaches
  • Identify recurring issues and emerging trends through analysis, then proactively drive improvements that enhance partner experience and business outcomes
  • Support change management efforts by adapting to evolving business needs and helping others adopt new responsibilities, processes, or ways of working

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or Equivalent related professional experience
  • 3+ Years experience working in operations, partnerships, affiliate, commercial, or other cross-functional business environments where coordination and execution are critical
  • Native or near-native Japanese proficiency (written and spoken); professional English fluency required — all internal business is conducted in English
  • You are skilled at solving ambiguous business problems and can translate insights into practical, scalable operational solutions
  • You can independently manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and keep projects moving forward with limited guidance
  • You build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly across different functions, levels, and perspectives
  • You have experience improving processes, creating documentation or enablement materials, and helping teams work more efficiently and consistently
  • You are comfortable coaching others and contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement
