About the role
As a Finance Director, you will be offered a great breadth and depth of opportunity and challenge. Finance provides the partnership, strategic guidance and support services that our business units need to operate efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for Performance Management for the business along with LOC/Market General Manager, and Southeast Asia & Taiwan Cluster Finance Director.
A day in The Life
Role Responsibilities
- End-to-end P&L, BS, cash flow ownership of statutory and management book, in charge of internal, external financial and tax audit, ensure accounting & finance process compliance; Process owner for estimating and planning process – Annual Plan, Major Forecast updates and Rolling Forecasts
- Drive consumption growth with strategic partnership to LOC/Market General Manager and Leadership Team, strong partnership to market General Manager and Leadership Team to identify and unlock growth opportunities via but not limited to 1) Innovation, 2) Digital Commerce, 3) core growth via distribution Penetration, and media/expert investment
- Collaborate with General Manager and Leadership Team to implement Strategic Projects – GTM, Strategic Portfolio management, etc.
- Unlock investment efficiency to enable LOC/market sustainable growth: trade investment, A&P investment including expert; gross margin management; overhead cost target deliver
- Day to day strategic partnership to LOC/market General Manager and Leadership Team providing financial guidance and leadership in / not limited to the following areas: performance culture, commercial Hygiene, LOC/market risk assessment etc.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
- Exposure and experience working in a finance function, including providing financial partnership to a business area or team
- Demonstrated financial knowledge and experience including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning and decision making
- Direct experience with financial software and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, preferably in Management, Finance or Accounting
- Strong Analytics training or experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience managing or working with a global team and global stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to determine and communicate the legal, financial and ethical interpretation of industry regulated principles
