About the role
The Strategic Sourcer – Indirect Procurement supports operational purchasing activities while contributing to strategic sourcing and category management initiatives within an international HVAC organization.
Job Description
Execute operational procurement activities in ERP systems (purchase orders, order tracking, invoice verification) for different indirect categories
Ensure continuous supply of indirect materials and services for manufacturing and operations
Support and maintain catalog-based purchasing solutions
Handle day-to-day supplier communication related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing
Support Category Management with RFQs, sourcing requests, price negotiations, and supplier analyses
Contribute to project-based sourcing activities and contract implementations
Act as interface between plants, internal stakeholders, and suppliers
Requirements
Experience in procurement / sourcing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of operational purchasing processes
Exposure to strategic sourcing or category management is an advantage
Experience in an international, multi-site organization preferred
Skills & Languages
Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
MS Office / SAP knowledge is desirable
Fluent English
Very good German and/or French skills (highly relevant for the role)
