About the role
Responsibilities:
Development:
- Reference design, simulation, lab and system validation; build and improve automated RF bench tests (scripting, regression, reporting, repeatable flows).
- Design and bring up RF application and demo hardware for evaluation and design-in.
- Own reference design packages, schematics/layout guidelines, and collateral; update from customer feedback.
Support customers :
- Partner with sales to provide advanced technical support and influence RF architecture; PA/LNA and antenna integration and debug.
- Support customers in troubleshooting and resolving issues in real-world deployment to ensure successful rollout.
- Develop application notes and deliver technical training to FAEs and Sales teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, Automation, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5+ years of R&D experience in RF circuit or wireless product design.
- Strong written and verbal English; able to collaborate with global teams via email and documentation and to participate in technical meetings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Self-motivate, strong initiative. Not afraid of difficulties and willing to take challenges.
- Strong self-learning ability; able to quickly pick up new technologies, chips, and protocols and apply them in projects.
- Patient, detail-oriented, and methodical; able to perform thorough and sometimes repetitive testing with consistency and accuracy
- Skilled in RF design, bring-up, and debug (PA/LNA, matching/filtering, FEM/switches, antennas) on reference/eval hardware; simulation and correlation with ADS, HFSS (or equivalent); and RF PCB layout in Altium / Protel and/or OrCAD (stack-up, grounding, controlled impedance, DFM/DFT).
- Good knowledge of RF systems literacy—link budgets, transceiver/FEM/antenna trade-offs, coexistence and deployment factors—and applying it to bench validation, demos, and customer field issues.
- Experience with RF bench automation: scripted instruments, regression tests, data capture/reporting, revision control, pass/fail criteria (Python, LabVIEW, or C/C++ with SCPI/VISA) for reference, demo, and customer support work.
- Experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, RF tuners, and noise-figure setups for calibration, automated runs, and evidence-backed debug.
- Experience with MCU bring-up and embedded C/C++,Python for eval boards and demos.
